Annual "Lotus Comes to You" kicks off in the Kingdom

Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam, June 5th, 2011: Saudi Business Machines (SBM), IBM's sole general marketing and services representatives in Saudi Arabia, kicked off a series of events in Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam, that aimed at defining the role of electronic means of social communication to achieve business success and maximize profits.

These events included a review of the most important features of the new version of Lotus Business 2011 package, which IBM recently launched in various world markets. The events saw a large number of business owners, project managers, business developers, market and human resources specialists who had been introduced to alternatives for the systems used in their companies that boosts the efficiency of their businesses in terms of operation and productivity.

IBM introduced the "Customer Experience Suite", which is a flexible, comprehensive offering that helps organizations create highly engaging, personalized, and differentiated web experiences that meet the evolving needs of today's customer.

SBM Lotus Brand Leader, Dinny Peter, expressed his views that - "With exceptional customer web experience, organizations can

Drive revenue & increase brand loyalty with enhanced web experiences that include native social & mobile capabilities

Improve customer satisfaction & reduce costs through online self-service that's quick and easy to use

Deliver greater flexibility & drive incremental value by creating personalized web experiences that seamlessly combine back-end applications, commerce solutions, social media sites, and cloud-based services. "

IBM also showcased the NEW "Exceptional Work Experience suite" which is powered by social business

Using this Work Experience Suite, organizations can nurture the next generation of creative leaders, enhance employee productivity, improve retention of top talent, improve organizational response time and agility, and reduce training and deployment costs.

The new package from Lotus offers technologies that will work with the most popular websites of social networking such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and others in building productive relationships among both the work environment and outside. The new package eases up the process of building and developing networks of social relations that can be used for performance advancement, and helps employees explore opportunities through access to key insights in the marketplace, whether in terms of potential customers, identifying new means of communication with current customers, business partners or service providers, enabling accessibility to new business sectors and building permanent communities that would work on cooperation and exchange of opportunities and experiences.

IBM experts presented a number of success stories of large companies benefiting from the solutions Lotus new package offers. These experiments extended to strengthen communications among the staff internally enabling them to exchange views and experiences and promote a culture of innovation and encouraging the initiative spirit for the benefit of businesses they work in.

One of the features the new package of Lotus includes is the "Lotus Live", that provides interactive Web experience through Cloud technologies. This technology manages to build a network to connect effectively and directly with various clients through Internet media and e-mail. Furthermore, this technology is not only accessible from computers, but also through mobile phones with the same efficiency and reliability.
